How does Karma work?
You need to earn Karma to get respondents for your survey. Whenever you complete someone's survey you will be rewarded with Karma, and vice versa, when someone answers your survey, it will deducted from your Karma.
The SurveySwap ranking system is built to keep things fair. That's why we first award people who put in the most work (completed the most surveys).
Karma & the survey list:
We display a long list of surveys, with on top surveys that have the highest Karma. When you complete surveys from other users on the platform you are awarded with Karma points. A few things to note:
The higher your Karma, the higher your survey ranks in the list.
1 Karma is earned by completing a 1-minute survey, 5 Karma is earned by completing a 5-minute survey, etc.
When someone completes your survey, Karma will be deducted from your Karma 'balance'.
- e.g. if you have 30 Karma and someone completes your 5-minute survey, afterward, you will have 25 Karma.
- When 6 people have completed your survey, your Karma balance is back to 0 and your survey is offline.
You can also become a sponsor of our community (it keeps SurveySwap running) and buy additional Karma. After collecting 50 Karma, you will receive a special 25% discount.
How much Karma do I need?
Use the following formula to determine the amount of Karma needed to get all the respondents for your survey:
(Number of respondents) x (Minutes to complete survey) = Amount of Karma
For example, if your survey takes others 5 minutes to answer and you need 50 respondents, you’ll have to get 250 Karma.
